At the de Young Museum, alongside Treasures of the Pharaohs, Music in-Takht presents a special program devoted to the golden age of Egyptian music—featuring the iconic works and rich traditions that defined a cultural era, alongside rarely performed gems that are central to our mission of bringing this instrumental repertoire to life.

This is a free program. Koret Auditorium doors will open 30 minutes before the start of the program. Seating is limited and unassigned and first come, first served. Admission to the theater program does not include admission to the special exhibition or other galleries in the museum. Learn more about free and reduced admission through Free Saturdays.
