From the Andes to Buenos Aires: Argentine Tango & Folklore for Violin & Piano

This performance includes:
1. Classical pieces that were written by important Argentine composers such as Alberto Williams, Cuchi Leguizamón, and Julián Aguirre heavily incorporated Argentine folklore elements into their compositions.
2. Contemporary folklore piano pieces that were written by a living legend, female composer, and pianist, Hilda Herrera (1932~). Old tango written by Aquiles Roggero, Juan Carlos Cobián, AnÍbal Troilo, Julián Plaza & Carlos Gardel.
3. Contemporary tango that was written and arranged by composers in the 20-21st Century such as Astor Piazzolla, Horacio Salgán, Ramiro Gallo, and many others.
